We shape to your specified tolerances in all tempers from annealed to spring temper. Call us if you have a demanding application requiring specific corner radius, tensile, or Rockwell hardness.

WE SHAPE WIRE – exactly how you need it. If standard products won't do the job, be sure to let us know what you require. We can also shape your supplied round wire or reduce your standard strip to needed thickness (example .062" to .060").

Shaped Wire Terminology

Square Edge - shaped wire with flats on side edges. Corner radius can vary as specified by the customer.

Rolled Round Edge or Round Edge - shaped wire with edges exhibiting the natural curvature from a rolling mill.

Round Edge with Slight Flats - a profile in-between square edge and rolled round edge having very generous corner radius and some flat on side edges to hold prescribed width tolerance.
